The Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA) revealed that it was offering an expanded regulatory webinar series this year.  The first webinar, on the Chemical Data Reporting Rule,  is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25 at 2:00 PM EST.

“The 2012 EHS&S Regulatory Webinar Series Hosted By and ChemStewards” is a significantly expanded version of the series of webinars offered by ChemStewards and independently last year.  The series, with at least 14 webinars planned for 2012, is intended to focus on topical environmental, health, safety, security and trade issues of interest to both SOCMA and ChemStewards members specifically, as well as to members of the chemical industry at large.  The one-hour sessions will feature relevant industry experts addressing the topic of the day, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.  The topics scheduled for this year range from the Chemical Data Reporting Rule, Trade and India, GHS, Fracking Disclosure Rules, and Plant Safety behavior.

The tentative schedule of these webinars follows below:

    • Federal and State Fracking Disclosure Rules
    • EHSS Regulatory Update (Members Only)

These webinars are free to SOCMA members and ChemAlliance subscribers.

They are $75 each for non-members / and non-subscribers, or can be purchased as part of a subscription for a special rate of $499, which would include access to the entire webinar series (saving approximately 50% off the cost of all of the webinars purchased individually.)

Barring schedule conflicts, and beginning in February, future webinars will be held the last Thursday of every month at 2:00 PM.  (In months where there is more than one webinar scheduled, there will also be sessions on the second Thursday of that month at 2:00 PM.)  The schedule of topics may be tweaked as the year progresses.
