Washington, D.C. - Today, the Office of the United States Trade Representative has uploaded videos from our January 21 conference event, entitled "Jobs on Main Street, Customers Around the World: A Positive Trade Agenda for US Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises."  That event brought together trade experts and business leaders to discuss how trade policy can help small- and medium-sized businesses create well-paying jobs through the increase of exports. The videos, now available on YouTube, cover Ambassador Kirk's opening remarks and three roundtable discussions:
  • Roundtable I: SME Export Successes and Major Policy Barriers
  • Roundtable II: Key Issues in Export Promotion
  • Roundtable III: Response: Developing Effective Trade Policy and Promotion for U.S. SMEs."
This release marks the launch of USTR's new YouTube Channel.  In accordance with the commitment made by President Obama and by Ambassador Ron Kirk to create a government that is transparent, participatory, and collaborative with the American people, USTR's YouTube channel will allow the American public another option to see the nation's lead trade policy agency in action.  As USTR seeks to create trade policy that works for America's working families and businesses, this channel will provide a dynamic view to the American public of USTR's efforts.  Americans will be able to watch speeches, USTR events and other videos at their own convenience.
