About this List
This ChemAlliance Regulatory Discussion List was established for the users of the ChemAlliance compliance assistance center. It is intended as a forum for the discussion of environmental regulations affecting the chemical and process industries. If you have recently joined the list, please read this page. If you've already joined, or wish to review the list as a non-member, you can visit the ChemAlliance Discussion List online
Participants in this list are encouraged to post questions and discussion related to the following topics:
- strategies for regulatory self-assessment
- strategies and techniques for cost-effective compliance
- understanding how specific regulations are interpreted and enforced
- the use of pollution prevention and Environmental Management Systems as part of a compliance strategy.
We also encourage postings about conferences and training opportunities relevant to these topics.
This list is hosted by ChemAlliance as a service to its users. Discussion on this list is unmoderated, so views and opinions expressed by the participants in the list are solely those of the participants. As always, you are urged to seek appropriate counsel before acting on specific regulatory advice that you read on this, or any such list.
To Join the Discussion list:
To join the ChemAlliance Regulatory Discussion list, you can send an email to join-chemalliance@lyris.pnl.gov or join via the web interface.
Unsubscribing from the Discussion list:
To unsubscribe from the ChemAlliance Regulatory Discussion list send a message to your personal unsubscribe address listed at the bottom of every list message (preferred method).
You can also send a message to leave-chemalliance@lyris.pnl.gov or log on to the web interface and click on the "unsubscribe" link which should be present on the right column of the message list.
Contributing to the Discussion list:
If you are already a member, you can contribute to the group discussion by sending email to chemalliance@lyris.pnl.gov, or you can log on to the forum and click the "create new message" link on the upper right.
