EPA has launched a new web-based tool, ChemView, to significantly improve access to chemical specific regulatory information developed in the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics and data submitted under the Toxic Substances Control Act.  In early April, EPA added information and launched several enhancements to the tool. This webinar will include a hands-on demonstration of ChemView and a review of those recent enhancements.

The search tool consolidates information and provides more streamlined access to EPA assessments, hazard characterizations and information on safer chemical ingredients, and also links to information on manufacturing, processing, use, and release data reported under the Chemical Data Reporting Rule, and the Toxics Release Inventory.  Topics to be discussed include:
  • ChemView
  • Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics
  • TSCA
  • Safer Chemicals
  • CDR Rule
  • TRI
  • Hazard characterizations
  • EPA Assessments

Who should attend?

SOCMA members and non-members are invited to attend, especially EHS&S staff, regulatory staff, and anyone interested in the EPA.
