Even if you are not covered by RMP and PSM you are likely to be covered by Department of Homeland Security's (DHS's) new Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorist Standards (CFATS). The clock is ticking and the deadline of January 22, 2008 to complete and submit your Top-Screen (CSAT), is not far away.
ChemAlliance, in cooperation with ioMOSAIC, Conrad Policy and Counsel, SOCMA, NACD, and the IIAR, is proud to be sponsoring a three-hour web seminar ("webinar") entitled "Completing your CSAT/Top-Screen." The webinar will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, beginning at 10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST. The fee for the three-hour webinar is $200 (special group discounts may apply). Attendance at the webinar is limited, so please register now to reserve your spot!
For a preview of some of the timely information that will be covered on the webinar, ioMOSAIC has prepared the following white paper on completing the CSAT form. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions of the panel of experts including:
- Judy Perry has more than 20 years experience in the Chemical and Petrochemical industries. Judy has spent the majority of her career directly responsible for Process Safety and Risk Assessment issues. She has served several years as the Safety Manager at a large Chemical Manufacturing Facility, as well as many years as an Engineer in the health and safety field. She recently joined ioMosaic as a Partner and is located in St. Louis, MO.
- Jamie Conrad founded Conrad Law & Policy Counsel in September 2007. For fourteen years before that, he was an Assistant General Counsel at the American Chemistry Council (formerly known as the Chemical Manufacturers Association). During that time, he provided legal and policy counsel in support of ACC's regulatory, legislative and judicial advocacy in the areas of security, science policy, and environmental laws.
- Matt Bettridge (tentative) is the CSAT Program Manager in the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Infrastructure Protection, which administers the CFATS regulations.
In addition, officials from the US Department of Homeland Security have been invited to participate in the Question/Answer period of the webinar, along with experts from SOCMA, NACD and ioMOSAIC.
Plan to participate in the webinar to get the most current information about how the CFATS regulations affect your facility.
